William Herman, MD, MPH

Dr. William Herman is a Professor of Epidemiology at the University of Michigan School of Public Health and a Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School. He received his M.D. from Boston University and his M.P.H. in Epidemiology from the University of Michigan School of Public Health. He is an internationally recognized researcher, educator, and clinician in the prevention and treatment of diabetes and serves as the Director of the Michigan Center for Diabetes Translational Research. Dr. Herman’s past and present research has focused on clinical, epidemiologic, and health services research related to diabetes.
