Dr. Rodney Hayward is a Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School and a Professor of Health Management and Policy at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. He obtained his M.D. from the University of California-San Diego. Dr. Hayward's current work focuses on how best to measure, profile and inform providers, so as to motivate and facilitate improvements in care and patient outcomes. In particular, much of this research relates to the care of people with diabetes and how to create improved health care delivery systems to support better population-based care.
