Dr. Robert Anderson is a Professor Emeritus of Learning Health Sciences at the University of Michigan Medical School and the Associate Director of the Intervention and Technology Core at the Michigan Diabetes Research and Training Center. Dr. Anderson’s primary research focus is on designing and evaluating programs that use a patient empowerment approach to improved quality of diabetes care. Dr. Anderson has 30 years of experience with creating, implementing and evaluating culturally appropriate programs for diabetes care and education.
