LA VIDA Partnership extends an open invitation to participate in our 5th annual walk to protest gender-based and sexualized violence (previously known as Walk A Mile). Walk starts and ends at the CHASS Southwest Center, 5635 West Fort Street, Detroit, MI 48209. Parking available onsite.
Strollers welcome. For everyone’s safety, bicycles, inline skates, wheelie footwear, skateboards and scooters are not allowed.
Proceeds from the race will support survivors seeking services with LA VIDA Partnership. LA VIDA Partnership is a community program of CHASS Center. It is a domestic violence and sexual assault intervention and prevention program that provides linguistically and culturally appropriate services and resources targeted to Latino/a youth and families in Southwest Detroit and Southeast Michigan.
