Dr. Jade Burns is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Behavior and Biological Sciences at the University of Michigan School of Nursing. She received her PhD in Nursing from the University of Michigan, her MS in Pediatric Nurse Practioner Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania, and her BS in Nursing from the University of Michigan. Dr. Burn's research interests are centered on innovative approaches using community-engaged research and technology (e.g., social media, mobile apps, messaging) to improve healthcare and sexual health outcomes among adolescents at community health care centers. Her secondary area of interest is improving nursing practice and training programs in underserved areas.
